Direct Donations
Donations can come from the most unexpected places - take for instance a woman who works with the children at SAS mentioning to her mom that they could really use a swing for the kids.The mom, who happens to be a waitress, mentions that to one of her patrons, a man by the name of John Johnston, who happens to be looking for a tax break and would like to help the children out. Next thing you know, Sequoia house receives a donation of $1,000 from this gentleman, part of which is used to purchase a swing for the children. A big thank you, John Johnston, from the residents of Sequoia house.
Direct donations such as this one may be made to one of our community homes or to SAS to use where needed. All of our homes maintain a wish list for items the need or could use. For more information see our residential page.

Sponsorship gives you the opportunity to become part of our "extended family" and your contributions put smiles on the faces of those living in your sponsored house.
